We had a fantastic time at this cottage in Whatstandwell! The view of the village was exceptional and we loved exploring the surrounding areas like the Peak District and Chatsworth House. The cottage was clean and tidy, with all the facilities we needed. The hosts even left us some milk and cereal for our first day, which was a thoughtful touch as foreign tourists.
Felt like being home, no complaints.

We had an amazing stay at Derwent Valley View in Whatstandwell. the property was lovely, with a quiet location and stunning views. the garden seating area was a little suntrap, perfect for enjoying the scenery. the property was clean and well-maintained, providing everything we needed. the comfortable lounge area was great for relaxing indoors on colder days. the kitchen was well-equipped and had plenty of cupboard space. the beautifully decorated bedrooms were a delight, and the beds were extremely comfortable.
Cons: No complaints!

What a great find! This cottage was perfect for our short stay in the area. the view of the village was exceptional, and we loved being able to enjoy it from the comfort of our lounge. the location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions like the Peak District and Chatsworth House. We also appreciated the attention to detail, like the milk and cereal provided for our first day. the cottage was clean and tidy, and had all the facilities we needed.
Just a few minor drawbacks. the cottage is located up a steep hill, so if you don't have a car, the walk can be a bit challenging.

We came to Derwent Valley View for our minimoon and were delighted with our stay. The property is beautifully decorated, clean, and well-maintained. The view from the property is breathtaking, and the garden seating area is a perfect little suntrap. The lounge area provides comfortable seating for cooler days, and the well-equipped kitchen had plenty of cupboard space. The cozy bedrooms were tastefully decorated, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable.
